Polisept Vet Wound Gel 30 ml
Hydrocolloid dressing with silver nanocolloid for use on all types of wounds. It accelerates and enhances the wound healing process, while silver nanocolloid inhibits microbial growth and exhibits anti-inflammatory properties.
Indications:
• Surgical wounds
• Superficial and deep wounds (lacerations, bites, wounds with pockets and recesses)
• Wounds with dry and liquefied necrosis
• Chronic (pressure ulcers, ulcers) and acute wounds (infected or not)
• First-and second-degree burns
Ingredients:
• PHMB – polyhexanide, characterized by a broad spectrum of antibacterial action, even against antibiotic resistant bacteria. It also has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antifungal properties
• Betaine – gentle surfactant, effectively removing mechanical and biological contaminants, including bacterial biofilm, it does not dry the tissues
• Silver nanocolloid – very small silver particles that inhibit microbial growth and have anti-inflammatory effects. Their action does not diminish over time, and they do not irritate or sensitize tissues
• Hydroxyethyl cellulose – anatural cellulose derivative and viscosity regulator that maintains the gel structure. It creates a protective layer on the skin, preventing excessive water loss
